Cassandra Karinsky (Kulchi) has teamed up with Sebastian de Gzell (Nomad) to capture the spirit of the Australian lifestyle – relaxed, uncomplicated and generous. The food at +61 reflects the vast cultural diversity of Australia, which blends the vibrant flavours of the Mediterranean, the Middle East, and South Asia.

Adopting traditional food preparation and techniques we make our own bread, pasta, cheese, and yoghurt in house, every day. We source the best quality ingredients and produce available to us in Marrakech, working closely with local bio-organic farmers. The ingredients are treated simply and gently. The table is casual, family style, no frills.

The serene, open dining room was designed by the owners and characterised by bespoke simplicity from the ceramics to the furniture – handmade by local artisans. It is the perfect respite from the bustle of the city where you can relax with friends over cocktails, shared plates, and a bottle of wine.
